reading about Jballa .

These days I'm reading  A. Moulieras Le Maroc Inconnu . It's interesting to know about  the northern part of Morocco (Jballa) during the 19th century. The book  unveils hidden truths about  this area and its people in an era often considered as anarchic . Bled Ss'iba was far and beyond the constraints of both the Ahl Fass regime ,and  the European (French and Spanish) colonization.
My reading of this very historical document , is fueled by a life-long quest for my cultural belonging and historical identity , as a Jballian , whose forefathers and ancestors were deeply rooted in this bountiful soil. ...
